Pure magnesium bisglycinate has an elemental magnesium content between 10% and 14.1%. We use 833mg bisglycinate with 100mg elemental magnesium. 100 ÷ 833 = 12%. ✅
If you get higher than 14.1%? Then it probably contains magnesium oxide, a cheap and poorly absorbable form that many brands add to artificially boost the elemental value.
Pure magnesium taurate is between 8% and 9%. We use 1250mg taurate with 100mg elemental magnesium. 100 ÷ 1250 = 8%. ✅
If both numbers are not mentioned, you cannot do the calculation. This is often deliberate. This is transparency that most in the market do not provide. We simply do.
